Arriva Group will be a new bus operator in the Plzeň Region in the western part of the Czech Republic from 14 June 2020. The contract is signed for 10 years. ARRIVA STŘEDNÍ ČECHY (= ARRIVA CENTRAL BOHEMIA) is the name of the legal entity in charge for the operation. At the same time the existing regional unified transport fare system called IDPK tariff will be strengthened and simplified; it allows for inter-mode transfer between the different municipal and regional operators as well as with the railway.
315 new comfortable buses equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, USB chargers, a modern check-in and passenger information system will run on more than 200 routes. I am from Plzeň region and the 3 axle Setra is not 419 but 418 and it is version with 57 seats. 419 even do not exist 😀
