A new release about Hamburg’s large tramway system which closed in 1978. The book is based on the photographic collection of Hermann Hoyer (1934-2016) – widely known among the enthusiasts in Hamburg. Most pictures are black and white and were taken in 1950s and 1960s – the photo quality is outstanding and gives a very good impression not only of the tramways, but also of daily life in Germany’s second city at that time. Recommendable!
