From 10 to 12 March 2026, Berlin will host the mobility move ’26 trade fair and conference – a central meeting place for the mobility industry, especially in the field of road-based local public transport. The event will be held at the Estrel Berlin and will bring together decision-makers from transport companies, politics, industry, research and the service sector.

mobility move ’26 will focus on the key future topics of mobility:

  • Electrification of public transport: electric buses, charging infrastructure, hydrogen drives
  • Autonomous driving in public transport
  • Digitalisation & AI in public transport operations
  • Software solutions for depot and charging management
  • Political and social framework conditions for the mobility of the future

Over three days, the trade fair will combine exhibition and conference programmes – including the VDV Electric Bus Conference, the VDV Future Congress on Autonomous Driving in Public Transport, and forums on AI & digitalisation and other mobility topics. Networking events such as the ‘mobility move night’ on the evening of 10 March will round off the programme.

Last year, mobility move ’25 attracted around 1,500 visitors to the same venue, with more than 100 exhibitors and around 150 speakers at the various conference events. More than 20 vehicles were on display, all on an exhibition area of around 7,500 m².

Within just a few years, the event has developed into an important industry gathering in the German-speaking world for local public transport – moving away from its original specialised format, ‘VDV ElekBu’, to become a much more comprehensive mobility forum.

This year, vehicles from the following manufacturers, among others, are expected:

  • BYD
  • Daimler Buses
  • Ebusco
  • Ikarus
  • Iveco
  • Jebsen & Jessen
  • Karsan
  • MAN
  • MCV
  • Scania
  • Solaris
  • Tremonia
  • VDL
  • Vin Fast
  • Zhongtong

Jebsen & Jessen will be represented with two vehicles: the fully electric Wisdom SIGMA 8 midibus will celebrate its German premiere in Berlin. With a length of 8.73 m, a width of 2.35 m and space for up to 54 passengers, it is primarily intended for urban transport and feeder lines. In addition, Jebsen & Jessen is presenting the brand new, fully electric ‘ie bus 12’ from the Efficient Generation by Irizar e-mobility. The new model offers advances in efficiency, capacity, accessibility, comfort, safety and sustainability: its weight has been reduced by around 1,000 kg, increasing passenger capacity by 5 per cent compared to the previous generation. In addition, the reduction in the height and weight of the vehicle contributes to improved driving dynamics. This bus will also be on display in Germany for the first time.

The following bus manufacturers will also be represented with boosts:

  • ArthurBus
  • Carosserie Hess
  • Driventic
  • Skoda
  • WrightBus

The following autonomous vehicles will also be on display:

  • Neue Mobilität Paderborn e.V.
  • Uedelhoven GmbH & Co. KG
  • HOLON GmbH
  • Staff-Eye

And, of course, other manufacturers will also be represented in Berlin. For example, INIT will be presenting ‘MOBILErange’, a solution for precise range prediction that is available to all relevant downstream systems: from planning and dispatching to charging management and ITCS.

mobility move ’26 will once again serve as a central platform for discussion about the future of public transport, particularly with regard to electrification, digitalisation and autonomous transport technologies.
