The first example of Škoda Transportation’s new articulated trolleybus model 33Tr is delivered and has already been started revenue service at its new owner, Arriva Teplice s.r.o., the public transport operator in that city. The new trolleybus has the Škoda 2ML 3846 K/6 motor of 250 kW and is equipped with additional battery package for off-wire operation. The bus is 18.75m long, 2.55m wide, has 4 doors and offers a total passenger capacity of 120, thereof 47 seated. The body shell is supplied by Czech company SOR based on the its NS 18 city bus model.

10 more of these 12m vehicles operate in Opava, another 5 in Pardubice. Škoda Transportation is expecting additional orderes of both models in the near future.
