As a non-profit organisation, trolley:motion is committed to the maintenance, development and expansion of electric city bus systems and the further development of the trolleybus system. Conferences have been held at regular intervals in the past, bringing together interested parties and stakeholders from a wide range of areas and facilitating dialogue, particularly at an international level.
The time has now come again at the end of October 2024 – this time it is the Czech capital of Prague and its transport companies that will provide the setting for the event. In addition to an extensive conference programme, technical visits to the DPP transport company will also be offered, as they are the ones who are reintroducing the modern battery trolleybus on a large scale. The programme is all about the latest developments and the requirements of a modern e-bus system. Key topics include their performance and flexibility, the promotion of quality of life by reducing environmental pollution, cost efficiency and fleet suitability, as well as the ecological sustainability of the electricity produced and its efficient use.
