As with other event around the world, this year’s global conference of the trolleybus lobbying group trolley:motion is going to take place as a virtual conference in digital format on 12 and 13 November. The content, however, does not appear to be less interesting. The conference focuses on the final results of the “trolley 2.0 “project but includes much more topics. Participants will learn about the main accomplishments of the project in the development of smart trolley grids and innovative in-motion charging concepts. This includes lessons learnt from the trolley 2.0 demonstrations that took place in various European trolleybus cities (see: https://www.urban-transport-magazine.com/en/in-motion-charging-for-emission-free-public-transport/) as well as new knowledge on related products. Among the list of speakers are representatives of leading trolleybus operators including SZKT Szeged, PKT Gdynia, BBG Eberswalde, Stadtwerke Solingen, PMDP Pilsen as well as leading academic (University of Gdansk, University Dresden, TU Delft) and industry representatives (evopro, PRE Power, Kummler+Matter, LibroDuct, …).
