Another new edition of Robert Schwandl’s popular TRAM ATLAS series has been published, this time covering the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. As usual, all urban rail transport operators are clearly presented, with detailed maps for each operator, key data on the network and vehicles, and a selection of representative photos. The text section deliberately follows on from the earlier books in the series on the same countries and reports on the latest developments in each system since the last publication. Metro systems are also included, although in the case of London they are deliberately kept very brief so as not to exceed the scope of the book.
