More and more emissionfree regional trains are being procured in Germany. However, there is no “one size fits all”. As regional networks are quite different from each other in terms of requirements, infrastructure and operational needs, each network must be checked individually in order to define the appropriate propulsion concept. And the timely provision of the required charging infrastructure can also be a challenge sometimes.
The third Eurailpress conference “Alternative Drives in regional transport” once again looks at the different perspectives on this highly relevant topic. First experiences from procurement procedures and operations, studies on the selection of the best possible drive concept, classification and construction of charging infrastructures and a look at current implementation projects give a comprehensive and current overview.
The conference is aimed at transport companies, public authorities and politicians as well as at the vehicle, supplier and infrastructure industry as well as at energy suppliers and consultants. In addition to the lectures, the conference also offers a wide range of opportunities for direct exchange between the participants and with the speakers.
