Tram Atlas Türkiye
Just released by the well-known, Berlin-based publishing house Schwandl, the two authors Bernhard Kußmagk and Robert Schwandl present in its newest book all the tram, light rail and metro systems in Turkey. These include Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Eskisehir, Gaziantep, Gebze, Istanbul, Izmir, Izmit, Kayseri, Konya, Mersin and Samsun.
In a slight change to the sequence of content in the previous tram atlases from other regions, all the companies are briefly described here one after the other in a common text section at the beginning, while the usual very good photos and detailed route network maps follow afterwards in alphabetical order. All current vehicle types, including the numerous used cars, mainly from Germany, are represented among the colour photos and are listed in tables.
Highly recommended for a site visit, but also for reading on the sofa at home!
