On 27 and 28 April 2022 BUS2BUS is opening its doors again on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. BUS2BUS, an innovative business platform for the bus and supplier industry in Germany that focuses exclusively on the bus industry, has been held since 2017. BUS2BUS 2019 was attended by more than 1,700 trade visitors from 34 countries and 103 exhibiting companies from 13 countries.
As in the trade show business, the focus of the bus industry is on direct dialogue. Nothing can replace the atmosphere, effectiveness and intimacy of a face-to-face meeting, which is why there is a great desire for live talks.
From the start Messe Berlin has planned ample space with the necessary distancing to ensure all visitors feel comfortable and safe. A detailed safety and hygiene concept is being updated to meet the latest requirements.
Business platform of the bus industry
Already there are signs that the Tade Show will be bigger than in 2019. More than 25 vehicles will be on display, more than at any previous event. Fascinating public transport innovations will be on show, as will solutions for bus tourism and long-distance travel. With digitalisation in the bus industry accelerating, another focus will be on digital services. The Startup Area, where new companies can present their solutions for the mobility sector, will provide an opportunity for new partnerships.
The trend among exhibitors is towards booking more exhibition space and vehicles. The outdoor display offers ample space for presentations, demonstrations and testing vehicles. Leading companies exhibiting at the Trade Show will include MAN, EvoBus, Daimler Buses, OTOKAR, VDL Bus & Coach, Iveco Magirus, Skoda Transportation, Switch Mobility, Anadolu Isuzu, Ebusco, Karsan, Mobileye, Optibus, ZF, ABB, Kempower, Bus Factory, K-Bus, Probus and OV Steinborn.
German Minister of Transport Dr. Volker Wissing (FDP) will hold a welcome speech under the heading ’Mobility and Environment’. Experts on innovation and mobility, bus operators, manufacturers and service providers will be discussing the future of the bus industry. Speakers from leading companies such as Airbus, Daimler Truck, MAN Truck & Bus SE, omobi, DB Regio Bus, ŠKODA Transportation, Ebusco B.V., BVG, Optibus, ZF AG, NOW GmbH and TimeRide GmbH will take part in the presentations and discussion rounds.
