St. Petersburg’s municipal public transport operator “Gorelektrotrans” will shortly take delivery of twenty 100% lowfloor trolleybuses of the 43303 (also reffered to as 433 “Vitovt Max”) model manufactured by BKM Belkommunmash Holding, a large manufacturer of rail and public transport material in Belarus. The innovative trolleybuses will be supplied under a long-term leasing cotract including service components with the company LLC “Promagrolysing-Center”.
The first shipment of the trolleybuses is planned in May. In June the BKM trolleybuses will start operating on certain city routes. More new trolleybuses under lease contracts will be supplied during 2020: 35 Stroytrans (former Trans-Alfa) model VMZ-5298.01 “Avangard” and 87 model “Admiral” 6281 from Engels Electric Transport (former TrolZa factory).
