Frank Klingenhöfer now board member of DB Regio Bus

Frank Klingenhöfer became the new Member of the Management Board of DB Regio with responsibility for the DB Regio Bus Division on 1 April 2020. The 50-year-old manager was most recently Chairman of the Regional Management and Head of Marketing for the Central Region at DB Regio Schiene (Rail). With more than 25 years of professional experience in the DB Group, Frank Klingenhöfer brings with him a broad expertise in local public transport.

Frank Klingenhöfer’s last position at DB Regio Schiene since 2017 was Chairman of the Central Region and also Head of Marketing for the Central Region in personal union. Prior to that, he had held the same positions in the Southeast Region for 4 years. Further career stations in the DB Group were the management of the strategy department of passenger transport, the management of the Rhine-Neckar transport company, the management of the DB bus companies in Mannheim and Karlsruhe and 3 years with DB Arriva in London.

Among other things, he worked for DB Arriva, headed the strategy department of passenger transport and was responsible for DB Regio RheinNeckarGmbH. Klingenhöfer succeeds Klaus Müller, who left the company to take on new challenges.

DB Regio Bus is the largest provider of regional bus transport in Germany.
