The gas buses have been delivered in tranches since 2021, the e-buses entered service in 2023. All 310 buses are of the well-proven Urbino 12 model. The electric buses are charged overnight at the depot via inverted roof-mounted pantographs.

Also new to the varied model range of Madrid’s urban transport company will be 50 electric buses from the manufacturer consortium BYD/Castrosua. The NELEC model was presented at the UITP Global Summit in Barcelona in the summer of 2023 – it is the first major series order for this model.
