Photo-based review of the large history of the railway and tramway factory Machinenfabrik Esslingen (ME). TThis second part describes the production of electric vehicles including light railway cars, tramways and ropeways. Most prominent certainly is the well-known GT4 articulated tramway model, supllied in no less than 350 examples to Stuttgart and some 30 more to other Southern German operators. Most pictures are “official” factory photographs of excellent quality. The history of ME is descibed in the introduction chapter. Good value for money.
