Interesting press release from Bestwig: on 04 October 2022, MCV, a new manufacturer of electric buses, made its debut on the German market. MCV stands for “Manufacturing Commercial Verhicles” – they are based in Cairo in Egypt. On 4 October, “MCV Deutschland GmbH” was founded with headquarters in Bestwig.

MCV Deutschland is headed by Pierre Dellori, who comes from Iveco-Bus, Jochen Grau, who also moved from Iveco-Bus to MCV, and Uwe Schneider, who with his “STS Schneider Technik und Service GmbH” will take care of the after-sales area for MCV’s buses. STS is an experienced partner in the field of service for buses. Up to now, they have been working for Iveco-Bus, and this will remain the case – in addition to their activities for MCV.

MCV wants to concentrate on buses with alternative drive systems in Germany, both battery-electric and hydrogen-powered.

STS is building a new service and workshop facility for these buses.

MCV Germany plans to present the first buses for the German market in spring 2023.
