
General information
Trolley:motion was founded in 2004 and is since 2007 as a non-profit association registered, the committed internationally for the conservation, the development and expansion of electrical bus systems as well as for the further development of the trolleybus system.
The main tasks of trolley:motion are:
- Information and education on sustainable urban mobility solutions, especially Trolleybus systems (website, wiki, …)
- Organization of international conferences: Zurich in 2008, Lucerne 2010, Leipzig, 2012, Hamburg in 2014 and Berlin in 2016
- Participation in (EU) research projects (including Actuate, ELIPTIC, TROLLEY) and the coordination of experts Experience and networks of cities and businesses
- Knowledge transfer between decision-makers, employees of transport companies and other interested parties
- Public relations and lobbying work for the trolley
