First order of the Ebusco 3.0 articulated e-bus – for Rouen!

The Dutch electric bus and charging system manufacturer Ebusco has signed a contract with the Metropole Rouen Normandy, France, for a total of up to 80 Ebusco buses. France is considered a strategically important market for Ebusco, mainly because of its market size, and one of the key target markets in its international expansion strategy. The contract comprises four Ebusco 2.2 buses, to be delivered around year-end 2022 and an option to purchase 76 additional Ebusco 3.0 buses, which will be delivered in batches between 2023 and 2026. 

Métropole Rouen Normandie (city of Rouen greater area) is, as the PTA (Public Transport Authority), responsible for purchasing the buses. All buses are 18 meters articulated e-buses. This is first order for 18 m Ebusco 3.0 buses.

The first 3.0 have already been delivered – to MVG Munich in December 2021. More details about it here:
